GOOD NEWS TOMORROW… As of today the wholesale ADSL ISP bandwidth rate has been reduced by Telkom – best you speak to your service provider today to see how this will affect you. ISP’s will pay R52.91 a gig for bundles less than 10 000 GB and R42.74 for those who use over 200 000 GB – this means that larger ISP’s will benefit more than those making use of the smaller bundles. GOOD NEWS TOMORROW… Finally, the long awaited introduction of 4Mbps high-speed broadband is on the cards for South Africa. Lulu Letlape of Telkom announced officially that our local telecoms provider will be introducing Mbps technology in the near future, promising the highest data transfer speeds seen in SA yet.
