SME’s there’s a World of Opportunities at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai

Join the DTI in the city of Shanghai, China from 05 July to 31 August 2010 as part of South Africa's participation at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai.

Be part of the continuing bilateral, political and economic co-operation between South Africa and the People's Republic of China.

The requirements to be part of the SA business delegation are as follows:

• Companies interested in exhibiting must be export ready, be competitive in South African market, been in business for at least 2-3 years and must have a proven business & export track record.
• This opportunity also applies to companies seeking to attract foreign direct investment, and project owners/managers seeking joint venture partnerships.

Programme and sectors targeted for the event (this programme will include business-to-business meetings and seminars).

• 09 July 2010: Mining, Metals & Capital Equipment
• 23 July 2010: Energy, Engineering & ICT

the dti will offer:

• Air travel assistance.
• Hotel accommodation assistance.
• Payment of exhibition space.
• Freighting of all exhibition material to the expo and back to SA.
