South Africa's successful bid for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup is set to present South African entrepreneurs with a number of small business opportunities. Or will it?
According to the Ministry of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, the 2010 World Cup is expected to involve approximately three and a half million people, both South African and foreign and including spectators, officials, sponsors and players, and provide a number of small business platforms in the host cities.
